Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if you are not contracted with my insurance company?

    We are happy to see patients that do not have an insurance we contract with. Our billing specialists will be happy to review this with you, and provide a quote prior to scheduling an appointment.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept, cash, check, Visa, Discover and Mastercard.

  • What if I do not have insurance?

    Cash pay patient will be requested to meet with the Billing Manager prior to the appointment to discuss options. We have other resources that might be helpful in planning your care.

  • Do I need to be referred by a Doctor?

    No, we accept second opinion consultations without having a provider refer you, however if your insurance requires a referral for a visit you will be asked to secure this before we see you.

  • What do I bring to the appointment?

    We request that you bring all your medications, vitamins and herbs, not just a list but the actual bottle of medications. Bring a friend or family. We make an attempt to gather all your medical records prior to the appointment but If you have them it would be helpful for you to bring all of them.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please call our office within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. This will allow our staff to give the appointment to another patient needing medical attention.

    Although we will attempt to call you before your scheduled appointment, this call is simply a friendly reminder and patients who schedule their appointment will be expected to keep their appointment whether or not they received a courtesy call by our office. We are happy to reschedule your appointment, if needed; just call our office. However, we will charge a $50.00 fee for missed appointments.

  • Can I use my cell phone in your office?

    We require you refrain from using your cell phone when in the room with a Provider. Out of respect for the comfort of other patients, please refrain from using your cell phone. Cell phones can be used for emergencies only. You may text message if your phone is on silent.

  • Can I bring my laptop or DVD player?

    You may use a laptop if they run on a battery and are equipped with earphones or a headset. Our office has a variety of games, puzzles, DVD players, movies and books you are welcome to use.
